Shipping and Return Policies

Shipping :

We use USPS Priority mail for shipping within the US and USPS Priority International mail for international customers. (We can't redirect the package, so please double check your address.) Packages go out one to five business days from the day of purchase.  Usually Priority mail takes two to five days to deliver in the US.  

International orders may take much longer to arrive. Please contact us for more detailed information about international shipping at this time. International buyers are responsible for duties, fees, or taxes incurred upon receipt.


Cancellation :

If you decide to cancel your order after it has been confirmed and the payment has been processed we will gladly refund your purchase amount, but you will still be responsible for payment of the processing fee. (3% in the US, 4% for international orders.) Caoyu Studio Ceramics does not keep this processing fee, it is a fee required by Shopify, on all orders whether cancelled or not.

Refunds and Exchanges :

If an item reaches you in damaged condition we will gladly replace it with a similar item of equal value. We do not exchange merchandise that reaches you in good condition. Because everything in the shop is handmade, it is unique and therefore impossible to have an exact replica. We do our best to accurately describe the items in the shop.

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you are welcome to return it for a refund within seven days of purchase. Buyers are responsible for the cost of processing fees and return shipping.

The responsibility for safely getting breakable items back to us falls on you. We are unable to exchange items that are returned to us in anything less than like-new condition so if the item is damaged in transit, you will not receive any refund. Bring your returns to a trusted shipper to pack the items if you're worried about your packaging skills. The cost of shipping is non-refundable and will not be comped.

  • Returns will be issued refunds only after they are received in acceptable condition.
  • Once an exchange is received, we'll issue you a store credit for the full amount of your purchase, minus the cost of shipping, to use on whatever else you'd like in the web shop. Your store credit expires after one year.
